Summary:
This paper shows an effect of dynamically optimizing the number of phase accumulation using the multi-chirp signal, for remote heart rate measurement accuracy with multi-chirp mm-wave FMCW radar. The frequency bandwidth was set to 3.99 GHz (operating frequency: 77~81 GHz). The root-mean square-error of the estimated heartbeat frequency comparing that of the ECG was improved for two of four subjects. We will increase number of subjects and continue evaluating effect of the proposed method.
