Summary:

We have proposed AMec (Access-Metro edge computing), an edge computing system that utilizes surplus computing resources in access metro networks. This time, we created a simple PoC (Proof of Concept) emulating a career network and conducted the following experiments. First, we made a system where a network device detects resource availability and joins AMec cluster through AMec controller mediation. In addition, we have collaborated with other systems such as live streaming from a smartphone camera and ARCA developed by NICT connecting via JGN.
