Summary:
A Higher frequency band should be essential for next generation wireless local area networks (LAN). Since the propagation loss of terahertz (THz) band is extremely large, beamforming is indispensable. However, since beamforming affected by obstructions, communication conditions is needed to be stable by simultaneous transmission with a multi-access point (AP). Moreover, multi-AP multi-stream transmission achieves great high-speed transmission if each link is available. In this paper, we evaluate some metrics for multi-AP multi-stream transmission and both two indicate higher capacity compared with conventional received signal strength indicator (RSSI)-based scheduling. Moreover, to achieve the maximum gain of multi-AP multi-stream transmission with practical computation, we evaluate the performance using machine learning.
