Summary:
In this experiment, the heart rate was estimated using the mm-wave FMCW radar on EMD. The purpose is to enable non-contact heart rate measurement. EMD was used for the separation and extraction of vital signs. We detect vital signs from the front of subject. Before performing EMD, DC compensation is performed to reduce errors due to DC components. From the results, the mean of RMSE is 0.1373 Hz which is less than 0.15 Hz. Detecting human heartbeat using mm-wave FMCW radar on EMD works properly.
