Design of the Dual-Polarized Dipole Antenna for Small Base Station

Summary:
A modified dual-polarized dipole antenna for small base station is presented. The antenna achieves a frequency band 2.5 GHz ~ 2.7 GHz at both input ports. The antenna isolation is more than 30 dB between the two ports. The average antenna gain is 6.5 dBi and the radiation patterns over the operating frequency band are very stable. It is suitable for B4G (Beyond 4G, 2.5 ~ 2.695 GHz) small base station.
