Summary:
This paper discusses on the effect of the spiral split ring resonator (S-SRR) on the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber. Split ring resonator (SRR) structure can potentially be incorporated onto the truncated pyramidal microwave absorber to increase the reflection loss performance. In this work, the effect of the N-number and the location of the S-SRR structure had been consider to the pyramidal microwave absorber design. This pyramidal microwave absorber has been designed to operate effectively in the frequency range between 10 and 18 GHz.
