Summary:
We propose a frequency-domain channel prediction method employing chirp z-transform and nonlinear frequency-domain parameter prediction. Simulation results demonstrate that the prediction accuracy is very high even in fading and fast Doppler-shift changing environment. We find that the bit-error rate (BER) is lower than the previous linear prediction results in a series of simulations for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) communications. Note that the calculation cost is very small, i.e., almost the same as that in the linear prediction method.
