Summary:
Wireless communications in a tree canopy is essential for pre-harvesting control of fruit production and channel characteristics in a tree canopy must be well-established. In this paper, propagation channel characteristics at the frequencies of 433 MHz and 915 MHz have been estimated. The experimental results demonstrate that the channels in a tree canopy matched well with General Extreme Value model.
