Summary:
In recent years, The number of bicycle-related accidents has been increasing and countermeasures are urgently needed. In this paper, we report an attempt to detect a pedestrian and road obstacles such as guard poles and signs installed in a urban-narrow bicycle-pedestrian-road with a 77 GHz FMCW radar. As a result, we detected objects that could be considered to be road obstacles and a pedestrians from Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.But it was not possible to identify a pedestrian from Fig. 5, so it is necessary to examine the algorithm for identifying a pedestrian and road obstacles.
