Summary:
We have proposed the concept of intelligent radio-wave design (IRD), which directly controls radio-wave propagation paths using multiple repeaters. As an example, we have proposed a technology that can actively suppress inter-cell interference power only by combining On / Off control (presence or absence of reflection) of each repeater. However, searching for the optimum combination of repeaters is an NP-hard problem, and the calculation cost increases exponentially as the number of repeaters increases. Therefore, in this paper, we formulated it as an optimization problem and made it possible to calculate the optimum combination by using a general-purpose solver. We also proposed a method to reduce the calculation load to a constant value regardless of the number of repeaters by using the representative values selected by repeaters clustering as combination search candidates.
