Summary:
This paper evaluates inter-system interference reduction effect by an adaptive band selection method in multi-band wireless communication systems with spectrum sharing. This method adaptively selects bandwidth control bands among allocated bands to reduce out-of-band distortion noise which interferes to other spectrum sharing systems. In the method, peak power component detection followed by in-band and out-of-band filtering is used to reduce out-of-band noise on other system bands. The evaluation results show that the adaptive band selection in bandwidth control according to the bands of other systems can increase the effect of inter-system interference reduction in spectrum sharing.
