Summary:
For a long time, all over the world has been lost many lives due to catastrophic disasters such as fires, terrorist attacks, earthquakes. Main causes of the damage expansion in these disasters include the escape delay of the evacuees. Hence, we have proposed a system using mobile terminals in real time providing evacuation assistance, Emergency Rescue Evacuation Support System (ERESS). ERESS is a system that analyzes human behavior and automatically detects a disaster. In this paper, we propose a new disaster detection method that is a part of ERESS. There is a decision method of holding a mobile terminal and abnormal behavior by using machine learning as a related work. However, as this method detects a disaster using only sensor information, there is a problem that the amount of data is small and detection accuracy is low. Hence, we propose a new disaster detection method with integration of sensor information and human detection to solve the above problem. The proposed method is a disaster detection method that considers human detection in addition to sensor information. We evaluate the performance by the demonstration experiments to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. As a result, we found that the proposed method can detect a disaster quickly.
