Summary:
Frequency components of the propagating pulse wave observed in 6 coupled bistable oscillators are investigated. It is demonstrated that the propagating pulse wave shows a multimode oscillation. These frequency components are clearly changed, as the degree of nonlinearity becomes weak. For weak nonlinear case, the spectrum of the solution shows four dominant peaks, which attracts controversy based on the past theoretical works.
