Summary:
We propose a CDMA system which allows each user’s signal to have a frequency offset. Such a system can be regarded as a frequency dual of a chip-asynchronous DS/CDMA system. Time-domain Markovian codes reduce the variance of multiple-access interference (MAI) in chipasynchronous CDMA systems, while in such a dual system, MAI can be reduced by frequency-domain Markov codes.
