Summary:
In this study, an influence of communication signal on an electrode for electrocardiogram monitoring was examined. A signal assumed as wireless body area network (WBAN) is radiated by a transmitting antenna to the electrode on the phantom. The difference of a received power in each measurement condition is examined. Considering the WBAN system, the distances between the electrode and the antenna were set to 3 cm, 5 cm, and 10 cm. The signal frequencies were set to the telemetry frequencies, i.e. 444.5 MHz, 953 MHz, and 2450 MHz.
