COMSOL Analysis for Electromagnetic Induction to Telecommunication Line by MAGLEV Train

Summary:
When a magnetic levitation rail carrying a superconducting coil moves at high speed, electromagnetic induction voltage is generated in the surrounding telecommunication line due to Faraday's electromagnetic induction, but this phenomenon is analyzed by AC / DC module of COMSOL. The telecommunication line is modeled as a common mode flowing in a loop between the telecommunication line and ground. Comparing the calculated value of COMSOL with the calculated value modeled with a lumped constant circuit based on a time-varying inductance matrix, it was confirmed that they are almost equivalent value.
