A Study on Jig Fabricated by Microstrip Line for S-parameter Method

Summary:
To improve the measurement precision, a jig fabricated by microstrip line for the S-parameter method is examined. Three compensating methods called open-correction, short-correction, and open-short-correction, are adopted to compensate for the influence of the jig. The effects of the jig are examined by comparing them with measured results using a jig fabricated by semi-rigid cable and a calculated result using the method of moments.
