Summary:
In this paper, shielding effects of some enclosures composed with thin wire arrays are studied. For the example, the thin wire array lined on a circle making a tube is analyzed to evaluate the shielding effectiveness as well as the field distributions in and around the structure. The near fields formed by the wire system that includes an active wire or a wire driven by an external power source are shown.
