Summary:
In this paper several solutions to decrease the propagation of simultaneously switching noise in power distribution network (PDN) were evaluated for boards with active components. Radiated emission of the boards using power track, 2 cell symmetric EBG with square patches or asymmetric EBG instead of standard power plane was measured using Revebration Chamber (VIRC). The effect of this PDN solutions on the noise reduction in printed circuit board was investigated.
