Summary:
Distributed system is a field that has been studied for decades. With the development of cloud computing technology, the theory of distributed clouds has attracted further attention from academia and industry. However, the complex architecture makes it difficult for users to deeply understand many concepts in distributed clouds, and synchronization system is the most typical example. In this paper, we initially define the network synchronization system and the clock synchronization system respectively from two perspectives. Furthermore, we design the detailed implementation algorithms and give the equivalence proof of these two models. Finally, in order to illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed methodology, we have proved the correctness of the relevant algorithms and made a quantitative analysis of their performance. Based on the theory of this paper, users could easily construct a clock synchronization system from the network synchronization system, or vice versa.
