Summary:
In the 5G transport network, the router has some limitations in traffic engineering. In response to the diverse needs of the 5G mobile network, the SDN-enabled framework is introduced, which collects network topology information in a centralized way and analyzes network information for network path computation. In this paper, we proposed an SDN-enabled framework that is capable to provide resilient traffic routing for 5G application requirements. To verify the framework, we simulated a production scale network topology as input. Then, we leveraged K-Shortest Path Algorithm using different constraints to experiment the flexible traffic routing.
