Summary:
The mode-field matched center launching technique can drastically increase the transmission bandwidth of multimode fiber (MMF).In this paper, we evaluate the frequency response of the MMF link using this launching technique, and demonstrate the transmission of 10-Gb/s signal over 12.2 km of MMF.
