Summary:
A semiconductor-based multi-wavelength light source for optical label processing scheme is demonstrated. Two cascaded electroabsorption modulators generated multi-wavelength optical spectrum, and coding could be achieved with one of sidebands filtered by a fiber Bragg grating.
