Summary:
Our previous study has developed a chord recognition system. However, there is a problem which it would be erroneously recognized as different chords to fail root note recognition. To solve this problem, this study proposes an improved method by focusing on the root note and performed notes estimation in signal processing. As a result, it is found that root notes are correctly recognized and chord recognition accuracy is improved using the method to be proposed in this study.
