Summary:
A monolithically integrated tandem waveguide-type acoustooptic frequency shifter driven by surface acoustic waves was fabricated on 128 Y-cut LiNbO3 for an opticalwavelength of 1.55 μm. A peak doubly diffraction effciency of 63% was obtained.
