Summary:
The present paper investigates behavior of DC bus system with delayed feedback control in the case that power consumption of load is changed as a step function and is varied continuously. The delayed feedback controller can track the operating point for a small step function, but cannot for a large amplitude step function. On the other hand, it can track in the case that the consumption is continuously varied even with large amplitude. Further, it is shown that, for such time-varying loads, the frequency domain analysis is useful to analyze DC bus system with delayed feedback control and to design the controller.
