Summary:
By a changing in the communication services and their usage patterns, signaling processing load is increased within the mobile communication network. To adjust this situation, service-specific network virtualization is considered. Such network function virtualization, it is possible to improve convenience, efficiency and fault tolerance. However, since the processing overheads of virtualization occurs, a number of physical server needed to ensure the required performance. It is also an important issue to reduce this for signaling processing load itself. In this paper, we take into account the frequency of communication between the server, free resource status and virtual machine. And we introduced a method to optimally place each function of the communication network as virtual machines in physical servers. Based on the actual signaling, we calculate the communication delay cost; our numerical analyses show that the proposed scheme has better performance than the simply virtualization arrangement.
