Summary:
The requirements imposed on transceiver devices for transmission of multimedia data in wireless sensor networks and characteristics of the existing systems are considered. Prospects of the use of ultrawideband systems based on direct chaotic data transmission in multimedia wireless sensor networks are analyzed. The results of experiments on "point-to-point" streaming video transmission are presented, including relay and through-the-wall transmission.
