Summary:
In this paper, a Lyapunov function-based design method for event-triggered control with self-triggered sampling is proposed. In the proposed method, update of the control input and sampling of the state are determined by comparing the Lyapunov function with its upper bound. The proposed method is simple and convenient, because only the quadratic Lyapunov function and its upper bound are used. As a control specification, it is guaranteed that the closed-loop system is uniformly ultimately bounded.
