Summary:
A three-phase full-order induction motor with direct torque control (DTC) technique based on the constant voltage-to-frequency (V/F) concept is presented. The AC drive system shows different dynamic behaviors such as fixed point, periodic speed oscillation, and period-doubling bifurcation route to chaos. Synergetic control technology (SCT) is a promising technique and a robust nonlinear control strategy concerning the inaccuracy in the system parameters during modeling or running for a long time. The controller design aims to make the system's dynamic trajectories move toward a stable manifold by selecting a macro variable that maintains convergence to the stable manifold. The SCT is considered to eliminate the chaotic speed behavior in the AC drive system. The designed SCT shows good control action and suppresses the chaotic speed within the desired time.
