Summary:
In this paper, the number of combinations of non-intersecting paths between two points in the case of adding submarine cables circling the archipelago to the domestic backbone telecommunications network was determined. The results showed that the addition of only two submarine cables was effective in increasing the number of non-crossing route pairs. Further quantitative evaluation of the effect of adding more submarine cables is desirable.
