Summary:
In an emergency, broadcaster would send a special signal to wake up their idle receivers. In ISDB-T (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting-Terrestrial) digital television, the emergency wake-up signal is sent on one of the control signals. As the control signal is sent over several subcarriers that contain the same information, the subcarrier diversity is possible for reliably determining the signal. In this paper, the performance of determining the wake-up signal with the subcarrier frequency diversity is presented. Then, the performance of determining the wake-up signal is presented by misdetections and false alarms.
