Summary:
The signal power received at an ES(Electronic warfare Support) system varies over the time due to the scan characteristics of radar, which results in the ES detection range. This paper analyzes the ES detection range for the circular scan and proposes a model to evaluate it quantitatively. Experimental results using real radars demonstrate that the proposed model is suitable for the evaluation of the ES detection range related with the circular scan of radars.
