Summary:
We propose an array antenna as a transmission antenna and evaluated its effectiveness for providing high gain toward the front and back of an OB van to achieve high reliability of the wireless links at the course in Kyoto. We mounted the proposed array antenna during the Zenkoku Koukou Ekiden (All Japan High School Ekiden) and the Zenkoku Joshi Ekiden (All Japan Inter-Prefectural Women's Ekiden) in Kyoto. We confirmed the stability of video transmissions by analysing and evaluating the propagation data.
