Re-enrollment/Resuming Procedure

If you would like to re-join at The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the method of re-enrollment / resuming differs between those who withdrawn under Article 9 and those who lost their membership under Article 11.

Those Who Withdrew IEICE by Formal Procedures

[ Re-enrollment ]

Re-enrollment will be permitted once you newly apply for membership. A new membership number will be issued.

[ Resuming ]

We will proceed the membership for resuming after confirming the payment of the full amount of the basic annual membership dues equivalent for the non member period.
Those who have been resumed their membership are regarded to have been members continuously for a period that was a non member.
You can use your previous membership number continuously. Those who wish to resume the membership, please contact the Membership Section member@ieice.org.

2.Those Who Lost the Membership Without Payment of Membership Dues During the Period Determined by the IEICE

[ Re-enrollment ]

Those who wish to re-enroll may be permitted to re-enroll after resolving by the Board of Directors. However, in addition to apply for membership, it is necessary to pay a surcharge specified separately due to past default failure of membership fee obligation. For the amount of surcharge, please contact the Membership Section.

[ Resuming ]

We will proceed the membership for resuming after confirming the payment the full amount of the basic annual membership dues equivalent for the nonmember period. Those who have been resumed their membership are regarded to have been members continuously for a period that was a nonmember. You can use your previous membership number continuously. Those who wish to resume the membership, please contact the Membership Section member@ieice.org.
