General Information

YES (Young Engineers Session) presentation preparation instruction

1) Date & Time

The YES will be scheduled on June 9th, 2016 and June 10th, 2016, respectively as following schedule.

2) Poster Preparation

A poster stand that can accommodate an A0 poster will be provided for each of the YES presenters. Your poster can be displayed from Lunch Time June 9th and 10th.

3) One-Minute Oral Short Presentation

YES presenters are requested to make a ONE-MINUTE oral presentation in advance of the poster presentation. Please note that, due to limitation of time, the presentation is strictly limited up to 55 SECONDS excluding a 5-SECOND switching time with a one-page slide in PowerPoint format. Please send your slide via email in advance to

no latter than June 7th, 2016. The file name should include your paper number and your name (e.g., TH1-01_YOURNAME.ppt). Please be advised that you include your paper number (e.g., TH1-1) in your slide since your presentation will also be judged as a part of the Young Researcher Awards.

Registration Fee

2000 THB (Payment method will be announced soon.)

Paper Submission Options

Authors have two options for paper publication: Published paper (2-6 pages) or Non-published paper (1 page (any more) abstract). Published papers will go through review process by Technical Program Committee.

Tutorials and Technical Sessions

TJMW2016 offers intensive tutorials and technical sessions on state-of-the-art RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz-wave theory and techniques with foresighted keynote and invited talks from Thailand, Japan and ASEAN countries. Technical sessions will take place on June 9-10. Tutorials will take place on June 11.

Student Design Competition

All the students are welcomed to participate in the Student Design Competition (SDC), which will take place on June 11. The title of the SDC is Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Bandpass Filter. A tutorial talk will be provided before the competition.
