About the GlobalNet Workshop Poster Session

The GlobalNet Workshop (GNW) is organized by the IEICE International Affairs Committee to foster interaction between international participants and Japanese peers in fields related to IEICE.
This workshop will begin with an engaging ice-breaking poster session, where international participants present on topics of their choice.
As emerging leaders connecting Japan with their home countries and beyond, young professionals and researchers from diverse backgrounds studying in Japan bring immense value; many are already embarking on global careers.
This event provides an excellent platform for cross-cultural connections among passionate individuals in related fields, supporting participants in discovering rewarding career paths in Japan.
The session welcomes not only international participants but also Japanese participants, whether based in Japan or abroad, to present in English.
We also encourage younger generations, including elementary, junior high, and high school learners, technical college attendees, and other aspiring individuals, to explore English-based academic exchange for the first time.
We hope this event will serve as an enjoyable cultural exchange and networking opportunity for all.

Applicant Eligibility

Both participants and presenters, regardless of IEICE membership status, are welcome to join this workshop.
Non-members are also encouraged to participate and may also register for the free Associate Membership, which provides access to additional resources and opportunities.
Presenters at the General Conference may deliver their English poster presentation at the GNW as well!

Participation Fee

Both presenting and attending poster sessions at the GNW are free of charge. To participate as a audience member, please attend directly to the venue on the day.
However, please note that a registration fee will apply for participation in other sessions of the General Conference.
