SITA from IEICE-EA is a directory of papers on the topics of information theory and coding theory which have been published in IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences (IEICE-EA). SITA stands for selected papers on information theory and its applications, and the goal is to highlight the many high-quality papers in the field of information theory which may be overlooked because of the large variety of fields that are handled by the Transactions. Thus, SITA from IEICE-EA announces papers related to information theory from the Transactions, so that readers may easily recognize papers that are of interest.

SITA from IEICE-EA includes papers from both the IEICE-EA regular section categorized as information theory or coding theory, as well as papers from the Special Section on Information Theory and Its Applications, published once a year, usually in December. However, we do not restrict the list to these papers. Authors of papers published in the Transactions who are interested in having their paper added to this list are invited to contact the SITA editorial board (sita-eb@mail.ieice.org). The paper will be added to the list if it is approved by the SITA editorial board.
