Scope of the Symposium: This symposium is on quantum information science,
which is a new interdisciplinary area of information science and quantum
mechanics.
Presentations can be given in English as well as in Japanese.
Information
- Date: May 28th - 30th, 2024
- Venue: Auditorium, Tsukuba central, AIST (Central 1, 1-1-1 Umezono, Tsukuba, Ibaraki 305-8568, JAPAN)
- Chartered bus service
- During QIT 50, a limited number of chartered buses are scheduled to run from Tsukuba Center to AIST (in the morning) and from AIST to Tsukuba Center (in the evening). See here for details.
- The chartered bus departing from Tsukuba Center at 9:10 am is expected to be very crowded. If you wish to take the chartered bus, please take the 8:30 bus if possible.
- During the busy morning hours, it usually takes 30 minutes to get from the Tsukuba Center to the venue. Please allow plenty of time for your visit.
- Expected number of participants: ~200
- Early registration fee (electronic proceedings included): 4,000 yen (Student: 3,000 yen)
- Banquet fee: 4,000 yen
- Payment should be made by bank transfer by May 21st (Tue.), 2024.
- On-site registration for the banquet is not possible. If you wish to attend the banquet, please kindly register in advance through the web registration.
- In case of on-site cash payment:
- Registration fee (electronic proceedings included): 5,000 yen (Student: 4,000 yen)
- Special on-site registration price for students (audience only, electronic proceedings excluded): 1,000 yen

- The banquet will be held at the AIST restaurant on May 28th.
- Photos (including screenshots) and video recordings of oral presentations and posters are prohibited unless specific permission is granted.
