The Section is restarting from a period of limited contact. The immediate task is to create a sustainable local network before expanding the number of activities.

Link IEICE Societies, lecturers and Taiwan-based conferences with locally proposed lectures, workshops and research exchange.

The 7th IEICE-CS International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Communications will be held in Taipei. The Taipei Section is a useful local connection point for related exchange and coordination.

A Taiwan activity of the Technical Committee on Microwave Photonics and Terahertz Photonic-Electronics Technologies is being planned. Public details will be added after confirmation.

Possible cooperation between IEICE Societies and Taiwan-based research communities is being explored. Any formal partnership or agreement will be announced only after confirmation by the relevant organizations.
