Call for Special Session Proposals

The 30th Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC 2025) will be held at I-site Namba in Osaka, Japan, during November 26-28, 2025 https://www.ieice.org/cs/apcc/.

APCC 2025 is now calling for organizing Special Session proposals. Each special session is expected to have five to six talks. If you would like to organize a special session, please submit a proposal to the TPC chairs (apcc-proposal@mail.ieice.org) by April 1, 2025 May 7, 2025 (Extended). The proposal should include the following information:

1. Session title
2. Session overview or scope (abstract)
3. Organizer information: names, contact email addresses, and a short bio
4. List of prospective invited talks and general papers, including authors and affiliations

Note that abstracts are required for invited talks, but papers do not need to be submitted; they will not be published in IEICE Proceeding Series and IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

General papers will be peer-reviewed in the same manner as regular session papers. The deadline for submission is June 5, 2025.

The APCC 2025 committee will select the special session proposals based on the topic and quality. The selected special sessions will be notified to the organizers. If the number of accepted papers is too small, the special session may be canceled, and the accepted special session papers will go to regular sessions.
