- For each of all accepted papers,
at least one author including students must register by the Early-Bird due date at the
Full rate (=Authors Registration)
in order to guarantee their papers to be published in the symposium proceedings,
IEICE I-Scover and IEEE Xplore.
One full rate payment is necessary and only valid for one paper, not applicable for multiple papers.
- For Authors Registration, JEMS Paper number (e.g. 110000) must be provided.
- A paper must be presented at the conference site.
Online presentation (e.g. Skype) is not permitted without an unavoidable reason such as a natural disaster.

Refund Policy
There is 10,000 JPY cancellation fee for registration.
APNOMS 2016 must receive a written cancellation notice no later than September 6th, 2016
to remit the curtailed refund. Refund will not be made after September 6th, 2016.
Authors registration cannot be refunded.

Student Travel Grants
A limited number of Student Travel Grants (STG) are awarded jointly by IEEE ComSoc, KICS, ICM, and
other bodies. To be eligible for one of these STG, the applicant must satisfy all of the following requirements:
- The applicant must be an author and presenter of an accepted (and registered) APNOMS 2016
technical/poster/innovation paper.
- The applicant must be a full-time student registered toward a graduate degree in engineering, computing
or related field in a college or university when submitting the application; preference will be given to
doctoral-level students.
- Applicants may not receive more than one STG in any 12-month period.
- Applicants must be from overseas (not stay in Japan)
The Student Travel Grant is JPY 30,000.
The closing date for APNOMS 2016 STG applications is August 30th, 2016.
