Goal/Aim

This workshop is organized by the IEICE International Affairs Committee, with the aim of interaction among international and Japanese students within the fields covered by IEICE. As a core activity of the workshop, students will present their research in a poster session, which serves as an excellent icebreaker and a platform for discussion. International students in Japan play a crucial role as the future bridges connecting Japan to their countries and the world. Even today, numerous graduates are working globally. It is also a great opportunity to make cross-cultural connections with motivated students in the same field of study. We hope this event will provide valuable insights and opportunities for those considering a career in Japan. You are encouraged to develop mutual interaction at this workshop.
The event is not limited for international students, and of course, presentations in English by both overseas and domestic Japanese students are welcome. We also welcome junior members, such as elementary, junior high, and high school students, technical college students, and other young students who would like to participate in the research community for the first time in English.
We hope it will help students to enjoy the cultural exchange.
Please note that this event is also open to attendees as audience. Not only students, but also school officials, and business professionals are welcome to attend. We welcome you to join us for networking opportunities with students. Please make pre-registration as the audience.

Why Attend?

  • Present Your Research: Whether it's a completed study or a work-in-progress, all research topics are welcome! Showcase your work and get valuable feedback while building your academic profile.
  • Network Globally: Meet students from around the world and forge connections that could shape your career. This event serves as a bridge between Japan and international research communities.
  • Cultural Exchange: Participate in a dynamic event where you can share ideas, ask questions, and gain insights from students and professionals from diverse backgrounds. It's a unique opportunity to broaden your understanding of the global research landscape.
