QIT Student Presentation Award

Overview

The QIT Student Presentation Award was established to recognize outstanding student presentations given at QIT symposia. Students who wish to be considered are evaluated based on their oral or poster presentations. Awardees are expected to be recognized at an award ceremony held during the next QIT symposium after the presentation.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants are students who register and present a contribution as the first author at a QIT symposium and who request consideration for the Student Presentation Award when submitting their presentation through the web system. Both oral and poster presentations are eligible. Previous recipients of the award are not eligible.

How to Apply

Applicants should indicate that they wish to be considered for the Student Presentation Award when submitting their presentation through the QIT web submission system. Previous award recipients should not apply.

Selection

  1. Judges evaluate eligible oral and poster presentations during the symposium.
  2. The expected number of awardees is approximately 20% of applicants.

Award Ceremony

Only students who actually give their presentations are eligible for the award. Awardee names are announced on the QIT website, and the award ceremony is held at the next QIT symposium after the presentation.
