The 20th Quantum Information Technology Symposium (QIT20)

Scope of the Symposium: This symposium is on quantum information science, which is a new interdisciplinary area of information science and quantum mechanics.
Presentations can be given in English as well as in Japanese.

QIT has adopted the following measures to prevent the spread of the influenza-infection.
• 1) The banquet has been cancelled.

  The banquet fee will be returned to those participants who have already payed by bank transfer. The procedure is individually given by the e-mail.

• 2) We strongly recommend that you put on a mask during the conference. We will prepare a number of masks, but the supply will be limited, so please bring your own mask if possible.

• 3) Oral and poster presenters are required to wear a mask during their presentations. Participants of the poster session should also wear a mask while attending the session.

• 4) Participants from institutions that have called for a voluntary restraint on buisness trips or have stopped all lectures because of influenza A will not be required to cancel their participation. However, QIT requires all such participants to wear masks during all of the conference.

• 5) If you feel ill, please do not paricipate in QIT20.

• 6) QIT can return the registration fee to paricipants who cancel for health reasons or because of a request for a voluntary restraint on buisness trips due to influenza A.

• 7) Depending on further developments, there is a possibility that Hiroshima University will decide to stop all academic activities on campus as an emergency measure. Please make sure that you check the latest information provided by e-mail and on the web page.
