Announcement of New Annual Membership Fee Discount Program

　We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new annual membership fee discount program starting in fiscal year 2025.
This initiative aims to enhance support for our members by assisting young members, appreciating long-term members, reducing the burden on student members, and supporting those rejoining the Institute. Details of the discount program are as follows:

Discounts for young new members

Regular members who join for the first time in their 20s will enjoy a discounted annual fee of 10,000 JPY until the end of the fiscal year in which they turn 29.

Discounts for long-term member

For members with 20, 30, or 40 or more years of continuous membership, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your long-term support by applying the following discounts:

From the 21st year onward: 2% discount on the basic annual fee
From the 31st year onward: 3% discount on the basic annual fee
From the 41st year onward: 4% discount on the basic annual fee

Revised membership fees for student members

The annual membership fee for student members has been reduced from 4,500 JPY to 3,000 JPY.
This change aims to alleviate financial burdens and create a more accessible environment for students to participate in IEICE activities.

Reinstatement discounts for returning members

For former student members who rejoin IEICE by the age of 29, the annual membership fee for the first and second years will be 6,500 JPY (equivalent to the membership upgrade discount), and the rejoining fee will be waived.
This program is designed to make it easier for former members to return to IEICE.
