IEICE has been well-known for
more than 20 years in Thailand, Nevertheless, its number of members and activities
are still comparatively low. In order to expand its membership and activities,
IEICE head Office has, therefore, appointed Dr. Prasit Prapinmongkolkarn, a professor
from Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University as its area
representative in Bangkok area in November 2002.

various targets set above will be undoubtedly fulfilled.
