The Technical Committee on QCN aims to provide a forum where researchers in the Communications Society can learn about and engage in quantum communication and networking.

In particular, we seek to build a community in which communications researchers who have not previously been involved in quantum information can easily participate, including by addressing classical information challenges related to quantum communication and quantum networks.

Activities are scheduled to begin in October 2025 as a Special Technical Committee of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE).
