Short courses and technical sessions

TJMW2014 offers intensive short courses and technical sessions on state-of-the-art RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz-wave theory and techniques with foresighted keynote and invited talks from Thailand, Japan and ASEAN countries. The short courses are scheduled on November 26, followed by technical sessions on November 27-28, 2014 at KMITL.

YRS (young researchers session) presentation preparation instruction

1) Date & Time

The YRS will be scheduled on November 27, 2014 starting from 16:50 at KMITL.

2) Poster Preparation

A poster stand that can accommodate an A0 poster will be provided for each of the YRS presenters.

3) One-Minute Oral Briefing Presentation

YRS presenters are requested to make a ONE-MINUTE oral presentation in advance of the poster presentation. Please note that, due to limitation of time, the presentation is strictly limited up to 55 SECONDS excluding a 5-SECOND switching time with a one-page slide in PowerPoint format. Please send your slide via email in advance to

no latter than November 24, 2014. The file name should include your paper number and your name (e.g., TH4-1_LatifahMohamed.ppt). Please be advised that you include your paper number (e.g., TH4-1) in your slide since your presentation will also be judged as a part of the YR awards.
