The 9th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Information and Telecommunication Technologies (APSITT2012) will be held November 5-9, 2012 in Santiago and Valparaíso, Republic of Chile. It will be organized by Technical Committees on Information Networks and Network Systems, Communications Society, IEICE.
APSITT 2012 will present the latest results in research and application in information and telecommunication technologies and provide a unique opportunity for engineers and researchers in information and telecommunication community to discuss the trends in the field.
Chile is a very long thin country located in the south western part of South America. This country is well equipped with advanced communications infrastructure, supporting the operations of such as the ALMA radio telescope and the CODELCO copper mine. Thus we believe that exchanging ideas of information communication technology (ICT) at Chile between researchers around the world will be contribute to the progress of ICT.
In addition, for enjoying vast geographical feature of Chile, we will hold APSITT 2012 at two cities: Santiago and Valparaíso. Santiago is the capital city and Valparaíso is the well known world heritage city. Familiar Chile wine can be also tasted at banquet dinners.
